A recipe for boiled mayonnaise (its really yummy and also keeps well because the eggs are cooked) .. I used to make this when I lived on a farm and the chickens began to lay. I loved keeping it chunky (ok, so I didn't have a blender at the time!) to eat with salads but you can blend it smooth once its made.
Ingredients:12 eggs , 1/4 cup salt, 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup mustard, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk, 1 cup vinegar. Method: beat butter and sugar, add mustard and salt then mix in milk. Add well beaten eggs. Cook in a double boiler until thick. Add vinegar last.
Enjoy!
PS. an egg a day for the dogs will leave them with the best looking shiny coats!
