    oh boy, thats one tough situation. As I type, hubby has been on the phone for the last hour while they try and work out exactly what they can do, AND it looks like my claim still hasnt been processed due to the family trust. Seriously, does it have to be this hard? We pay our taxes, we just want a break for a bit.

    Yeah its not like you can dissolve a trust overnight and break off pieces of it and buy groceries with it. Like all capital you can't eat it.

    Centrelink would tell us, sell one of your houses and we'll talk support. Yeah been for sale since last year. Dropping the price by 10k every month or two and still not an offer. Eventually we will get down to the bank mortgage valuation plus selling costs amount and still be no better off apart from paying a little less interest on the loan and not having two lots of insurance and council rates. I wouldn't mind the $50k back that we spent on renovations either.
