Online network update
Good afternoon all,
Following the launch of our new website it’s been very busy for the team here at BCNA and we are happy to report that we have made some great progress on some of the issues.
We have made fixes on the following:
- Reply’s to comments on blog posts are now appearing and this issue is fixed
- The large white space before a blog post when viewing the latest blog posts from Internet Explorer (IE) has been removed and is now displaying as it should.
- The issue with the ‘My Feed’ not loading is now fixed
- Some users were experiencing logging in and logging out issues from different devices and this has now been fixed
- We have improved the way to attach images to a blog posts.
- From another members profile you can now send a private message
If you experience issues with any of the above fixes, please send an email to bcnaonline@bcna.org.au or a private message through the online network to Daina or Jess.
Issues we are aware of and still working through:
Note: This is not a full list as we are working with individuals on some items
- Links within the Notification messages not redirecting to the blog post
- Improvement to the setup of the Mailbox including ability to delete messages
- Ability to edit a blog post once you have published it
- Ability for a user to add a message with their request to join a private online group
I hope you're not too exhausted after reading the list, but one final thing - I just wanted to say on behalf of everyone here at BCNA, a sincere thanks for your patience and perseverance getting to know the new site.
It’s heartening to see so many of you across the online network helping each other out!
We are taking on all your feedback and will continue to post 'tips for connecting with others'.
If you have a suggestion for a tip we can share, please let us know or feel free to share it yourself and we’ll feature it!
In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the improvements to the site, and find it easier to access now from wherever you are.

thanks for the update. It's great to see the "my feed" up and running.
Hopefully some more of the issues can be fixed soon.

Thank-you for providing this info. No more frustration in thinking that it might just be me not doing things correctly! It is heartening to see that people are persisting, helping each other and also how much progress has been made with the fixes!
I think this info will help us all to understand that the problems are being solved and that soon the network will be better than ever again.

Daina & Jess, again, thanks for the hard work. This is a test as well, to see if this reply will post, because up to now I have been unable to reply to posts. When I hit post it disappears into to wide blue nothing that is the network currently.......

.......well, that in itself is a huge improvement because I had replied to a post about three times over the course of the last week or so & had it disappear each time.
