    My father was a POW on the Thai Burma railway for 3 years when he came home in 1945 his parents did not recognise him he was a bag of bones,  He died aged 78 of Pancreatic Cancer RIP

    Thanks for sharing Stork, how horrible that must have been for him and your family. War is a dreadful thing and they just keep happening. I really feel for the armed services staff and their families. So glad that your father recovered physically and got a good shot at life. Cuddles xxxx
