I call it ode to ovaries as I’ve just started zoladex and entreating the menopause stage at 42 I think it’s beautiful and honouring and it warms me to create this type of work.. I found all the materials on my walks and now it sits in the corner of my bedroom. I do love ritual and I guess it’s me processing positively and honouring my body and journey. Hi guys just wondering everyones experience with zoladex? I’ve been on it for a month and last three days i just can’t stop crying.. I have arthritis in my neck and that’s been the worst it’s been in a long time for last 10 days and I’m just not sure if it’s the drug or the fact I’ve been running on adrenaline and working hard with horses to keep me busy after op and radiation etc for 3 months and finally just hit a hole... I think I’m die to start tamoxifen soon as well ... Off to oncologist tomorrow for 2nd injection and will also talk to him but just wondering what people have experienced. Thanks 😊DIEP recon and Zoladex
Has anyone been on Zoladex injections before there DIEP surgery... where did you continue the injections in the month before and after surgery? Were you able to use Lupron instead? I am not a candidate for oopherectomy at my age, but my team can’t give me an answer yet about Zoladex injections. Surely I’m not the only young hormone positive BC patients on zoladex who has gone through DIEP....895Views1like8Comments
