First 4 cycles of AC/DC done. One step at the time makes me feel like a Winner.
Hi All, Hope everyone is doing great here and managing the side effects well. I completed my 4 cycles of the AC/Dc combo package and will start with the 12 cycles of weekly taxol from mid September. Luckily for me the red devil was not too bad apart from I have lost complete taste Nd my hair is gone . The nausea and minor reflux issues were managed well with medication and fatigue was also ok for me. I was constipated though and needed coloxyl. Can you all share your experiences with taxol. I can make a list of what to expect and atleast be mentally prepared. I am returning to part time work from 1st October and hoping to get some experiences as how work can be managed? The support and stories give a lot of encouragement 🙂 Thanks Priya147Views1like4CommentsGetting prepared for 12 cycles of Taxol

@Alfie...all the best. Hope the axillary clearence goes well. I had the surgery on 4th June and luckily it went well. No complains. Stay positive and lots of healing lights for you. Regarding the caps, I saw a few online but did not research much. Hope you find something for yourself lovely.15Views1like0CommentsMy painting for my Surgeon
Hey creative buddies, I recently made this painting for my surgeon as a thankyou gift. I named this painting cosmic connection. I will be doing a lot more in the coming days while I enjoy my chemo journey :) Hopefully one day I can start my own exhibitions and sale my paintings to raise funds for everyone going through the breast cancer journey. I pledge to support all my cancer mates with anything little I can do to contribute. 😍262Views4likes7CommentsRe: Need to talk
Thankyou for all the comments. I am going to get my hair cut done on Saturday Nd will discuss about head wear Nd wigs. I am positive and getting a lot of courage reading about all the individual journey you had :) Glad to be a part of this group. My birthday is in a few days and I have raised a fund-raiser towards a donation for BCNA.46Views1like0CommentsNeed to talk
Hi I am priya a 36 yr old mum of 8 yr old daughter. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I had 2 surgeries and the 16mm lump was removed and all the lymph nodes aswell. Surgically m cancer free now but have a long treatment plan ahead. I will start with my chemo soon... I just want to talk and get some positive experience about the chemo journey. I have been told I will lose my hair. I really don't know what awaits...My nurse advised to go online and talk to everyone in this forum and that might ease me down. I would appreciate if I can get any suggestions on how I can walk this path with lots of positivity. Thankyou626Views0likes18Comments
