Getting prepared for 12 cycles of Taxol

Hi All, Hope everyone is doing great here and managing the side effects well. 
I completed my 4 cycles of the AC/Dc combo package and will start with the 12 cycles of weekly taxol from mid September. 
Luckily for me the red devil was not too bad apart from I have lost complete taste Nd my hair is gone . The nausea and minor reflux issues were managed well with medication and fatigue was also ok for me. I was constipated though and needed coloxyl. 
Can you all share your experiences with taxol. I can make a list of what to expect and atleast be mentally prepared. I am returning to part time work from 1st October and hoping to get some experiences as how work can be managed?
The support and stories give a lot of encouragement :)

    Hi Priya,

     I found Taxol much easier to manage than AC. 

    I was still a little fatigued at times but no where near as much as I was with AC.

    All the other side effects that I experienced with AC lifted when I started Taxol (no nausea, heart burn etc).

    The hardest parts of Taxol were the hair loss and damage to my nails - a walk in the park compared to AC side effects.

    I too had a similar experience with the 'Red Devil'
    T axol was relatively easy. My nails had minor changes.
    I did get some peripheral neuropathy, only to my feet.
    This only appeared just after I completed the 12 sessions.
    Do tell your Oncologist, any side effects you have.
    Sometimes things can be changed, drugs for side effects etc.
    My Onc particularly wanted me to report any changes to hands and feet.
    Some people don't have all of their Taxol sessions and some have reduced doses.
    I hope that you continue your treatments, with minimal side effects.

    Hi Priya,
    I also had similar side effects with AC nausea fatigue extreme over a week ++ to kind of recover before the next round , not good !! 
    Taxol a lot easier to recover from not as fatigued I developed a rash on my hands which was pretty horrendous (treated with a hydrocortisone cream) and also suffered from neuropathy effecting my hands and feet Onc then dose reduced at round 8 happy with decision made, as I wanted to stick to treatment plan as much as I could while he monitored the neuropathy so yes agree with @Abbydog completely let oncologist know asap ! 

    Good luck,  definitely a lot less side effects than AC
