MRI guided biopsy in NSW
I'm wondering if there's anyone here who has had an MRI guided biopsy in NSW, and if so, where was it done?
In particular I'm wondering whether it's available in any public hospital, but if not, where the private locations are.

Sorry Moomincorn ... mine was only Ultrasound Biopsy .... but a quick google found this - all the best xx
Where to Access Services in New South Wales:
Because an MRI-guided breast biopsy requires specialized equipment and dedicated breast radiologists, it is offered at select comprehensive breast imaging and private hospital networks in Sydney and NSW
San Breast Care / San Radiology & Nuclear Medicine (Wahroonga) – Offers MRI-guided vacuum-assisted core biopsies.
Australian Breast Centre (Sydney CBD / Martin Place & Dee Why) – Provides integrated breast diagnosis, imaging, and specialist consultations.
Sydney Breast Clinic (Sydney CBD) – Specializes in multidisciplinary breast assessment and diagnostic services.
North Shore Radiology & Nuclear Medicine (St Leonards / North Shore Private Hospital) – Provides specialized breast MRI and diagnostic evaluations.
Major Public Tertiary Hospitals (such as the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick or Westmead Hospital / Westmead Breast Cancer Institute) handle complex high-risk diagnostic and MRI-guided pathways via specialist referral.

arpie Thanks. Unfortunately Google falls down a bit for this query. It focusses on "biopsy" or "MRI" rather than the specific "MRI guided biopsy".
I'd seen similar results so looked at Westmead Breast Cancer Institute - their website didn't mention MRI guided biopsy so I sent them an email and they responded that they don't perform them.
I haven't looked into the private options as I'd prefer a public option if at all possible.
I've found a few mentions of the procedure in these forums but no mention of a specific location where a person had it done.
I'm sure my surgeon will know but I'd like a bit of knowledge about options before further discussions.
