- kmakmMemberThat was the second thing I tried. It worked better than the first but nowhere near as well as Osmolax.Sign in to react to this post
- RomlaMemberAre you aware Movicol dose is to be gradually increased until bowel movement is established ? Always drink a lot of water with any product to relieve constipation.Sign in to react to this post
- SisterMemberWhen I had it worst during chemo, I took one in the morning and one at night. I also found it helped to walk but there can be a danger in that if you get caught short.Sign in to react to this post
- RomlaMemberI have taken coloxyl and is fine as a stool softener to avoid tears and haemorrhoids but not with senna. I used to take senokot years ago as a purgative but not gentle like Movicol .They use it in nursing homes aspatients tend to be immobile and eat foods that lack fibre.
But that said I don’t know the origin/ extent of your problem so best go with medical advice.Sign in to react to this post - Trikki2MemberSays to take 1 b4 bed, so hopefully i will be ok. I just cant find a balance.
Thanks @Sister
