Agreed, @Tinks - when my husband was having most of his stomach removed from cancer, I was a bawling mess in the waiting room, imagining the worst (as we do! :( ) .... Another lady was there - her elderly Dad was in ICU with a massive stroke - and there she was - she was placating ME!  She even took me for a coffee & calmed me down, whilst she had her own crisis with her Dad going on in the background.  I've never forgotten how lovely she was to a stranger.

Kindness costs nothing - but the memory & feeling lasts a lifetime

So true @arpie,

Kindness comes from unexpected quarters, even strangers have extended so much kindness to me. I have been humbled by how others have given of their time and care. Including of course the wonderful people on this forum.
