This Christmas I will be....spending the day in Adelaide with both sides of the family, lunch with mine & tea with my hubbies. I will be feeling very blessed to have survived the past year relatively unscathed & feeling so lucky to again be surrounded by my family who have got me through the past 12 months.
I only came out of hospital 3 days before Christmas last year so I was feeling very sick & sore & relied on the pain killers to get me through the day but I am so glad i made the effort as being surrounded by the ones you love on this special day, is the best medicine for us all.
This year I will be looking back very thankful & hoping that the many of you going through treatment at this time will find love & strength from those around them. As hard as it is, I would always try to remain as positive as i could & try not to worry about the things you have no control over..and that is hard. Things change all the time through this process so why waste your energy on something that might not eventuate.
I wish everyone, love, joy, peace, strength & many blessings over Christmas. Be strong, positive & give thanks for all of us being here & together we will help each other in the New Year & years to come. love to you all xxxx
