breastscreen saw something so I had biopsies last Wednesday, my gp was supposed to get the results by Monday, got a ph call from breastscreen to say the pathologist wanted to do more staining and my gp would get the results on Tuesday so I should see him Wednesday. and Im so depressed and scared and such about the whole thing. wouldn't be so bad but theres just me and my autistic daughter left now , friends I thought I had I dont and not a friendly neighbourhood I tried when we came here but was ignored. I have never felt so alone in my life

she will need to process it and its ok for her to take time to process it.
Try to do what you enjoy before seeing the surgeon
soldiercrab - tismeMembergot a ph call from the local hospital specialist clinic , breast screen has just sent through the paper work diagnosis etc but for them to send their reports to my gp I need a referral from him I should see the surgeons late next week daughter was there when the ph call came and now has gone into her room and shut the door the signal is when the door is shut to leave her alone
- kmakmMemberUnbelievable ego, stubborn stupidity and wilful gendered blindness. Makes me so angry.
- Blossom1961MemberI had a doctor who insisted I wasn’t pregnant and wouldn’t even do the test. Eight months later (two weeks overdue) my beautiful first baby was born. Yep, some doctors need a refresher course.
- tismeMemberlike a doctor who told me the pain I was feeling was indigestion then all in my mind , turned out to be gallstones

Now I like that idea, "healthy hypochondriac". Me too. Took me 18 months of temper tantrums (imagine that - from a 67 year old 'lady'), insistence and standing my ground to finally be given an appointment with a respiratory physician.
How I wish I could find that idiot doctor, who was at our town hospital some 18 months ago, who told me that I had "emotional asthma, because I had treatment for BC," just to stick it up him.
Unfortunately he was a another Fly In Fly Out doctor. Definitely a seagull that one - you know - fly in, s**t all over us locals, then fly out. - Blossom1961Member@tisme Absolutely
- tismeMemberI'm still here , now the wait to see a surgeon at the local hospital. my sample was sent to 2 different laboratories. not including breast screen itself. Now the other breast is sore , actually it was after the mammograms its a lot bigger than the right side but no one can tell me why. might go talk to my gp tomorrow, he prolly thinks I'm being paranoid or something but id rather be a healthy hypochondriac than a sick or dead fool. and with what's gone on the last few months I think I'm entitled
