Little worried

@Sister paranoia is now the new normal for sure!!  I used to take my body for granted and since I got lymph nodes removed and got temporary chemo induced lymphodema it made me appreciate how this complicated machine just ticks along doing it’s thing - until it doesn’t. 

I used to feel pretty confident about my body (function, not necessarily form), then with BC I feel as if it betrayed me.  Now I don't think I can ever trust it again.  It's a bugger, isn't it?

Normal again today which gives me hope. 

@primek my oncologist said she would let me have one for my year anniversary (which I’m glad about now) because she wants me to be able to sleep at night but her colleagues wouldn’t do it. I don’t think she will let me do it yearly since it’s the equivalent of 500 xrays but I’m glad I can get it done this time. 

Definately rhe new normal for all all of us that every ache and pain is cancer. 

@SoldierCrab I’m definitely hoping since things seem to have returned to normal that it was a polyp or something.

my fright turned out to be a few polyps ..... ever watchful now and yes we do automatically think the worse after our BC scares.

Oh yes we all worry about every abnormal thing now. I am curious about the annual CT scan as it's not something even recommended now...usually only done now if something of concern not as routine. Since my treatment I've have abdominal US, back CT and shoulder ultrasound. ..all to ensure the pain issues were all just normal bloody aches and pains from arthritis etc...so far so good.

I also had blood in my poo in August. The GP referred me to the gastroenterologist, who did a colonoscopy. It turned out to be haemorrhoids from constipation. Thank goodness. I was also thinking the worst.

PS some cream like Anusol can help with irritation around the anal area.

Yep, @"Kiwi Angel"  they can often be a tad itchy, too (hence me using toilet paper to 'scratch it'!! LOL )  

Yep - blood in your stools (and even urine) can be one of the side effects - and recommending checking with gp immediately!

Do you take your panadol osteo wth food?  I take my tablets with food (unless otherwise specified) so there is something in the tummy as i take them - VERY important with Anti Inflammatory tablets like Ibuprofen etc - essential, actually!

@arpie just my tamoxifen, blood pressure meds and nightly dose of panadol osteo. Have been feeling irritated in that area so I’m hoping.
