I dunno Fran, I'd rather be trepanned without anaesthetic than attend I kids party and bombastic numpties bring out the worst in me. You're a stronger woman than I; I'd either play the cancer card an hour before the party or get pissed in the middle of the afternoon and lurk in the corner giving everyone the stink eye.
