Am I allowed to get excited about an achievement on here? I know this may sound silly, but today I completed some horrible paperwork I have been putting off AND I am not stressed AND I did not hit pan...
Wins are good. I'm celebrating negotiating my job fairly soon to three days a week. The really exciting thing about that is I will stop being a manager in about 3 months!! And 5 weeks of that is holiday. I've done the budget stuff, the feedback, the staff wrangling, the recruitment, the work reviews, the restructures, the planning days (oh lord, the planning days!) for decades. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I don't think, for once, it's the oncoming train. I can just do the work!
