Thank you for sharing your experience. That's what I'm thinking, that if I go for a re-excision, I don't really know what's the extent of the carcinoma, so might be best to have a mastectomy.
Yeah I agree. Have a chat with your doctor or breast care nurse. Their recommendations are based on years of knowledge and experience. A mastectomy is a big op so you want to be sure. I had direct to implant reconstruction so was a few weeks to recover but I've got no regrets! All the very best.
