Thank you for your advice boobvoyage. Thr chat qent really well today with the kids. Im not 100% sure they understood but im sure it will be an ongoing discussion. I used your husbands line around hair loss and the medicine working so hopefully that helps. I also go some other great advice in another group to call it heavy medicine which we did however with time I am sure we will change this to chemo.
We also printed out a calendar and put it on the wall to help demonstrate to them when I will feel at my worse and when things should start to look better. It was a tough one for them to see how long it would be until chemo finished aslnd my 5yr old struggled with the idea of me being sick for so long.
We are going to take them wig shopping with us this weekend to help them feel involved in the process.
