Suzywong lots of hugs for you. It feels like it’s been so long and I am still waiting one more week for my mri and hopefully will find out when is the operation in two weeks.
I have ended up telling the kids. And started telling family and friends. Telling the kids was the hardest.
I had a catch up with some friends the other day and it made me realise everyone’s life will just keep on going as usual while me (us as a family) will be going through the treatment and nothing will ever be the same.

All the best with your MRI & surgery date, Kari210 xx
I'm glad you've told the kids & some family & friends xx It relieves some of the pressure on you xx I hope you can take a trusted friend or family member with you to all your appointments too - as a 2nd set of ears & mental and physical support xx
Yep, we almost go on 'slow motion' whilst the rest of the world is still going at normal speed! It is really weird!! Just make sure you have quality YOU TIME from now on, both before & after the surgery xx. Do things you LOVE doing - or even try something NEW! (I highly recommend Ukulele! ;) )
If you have any queries/concerns about ANYTHING - chat with your BC Nurse, or give the Helpline here a bell on 1800 500 258
Take care & all the best xx
