@Romla it's interesting isn't it? I've been seeing my Surgeon for over 10 years and have always been a private patient. However, at 1st diagnosis I had to have radiation only for treatment and they said to go public for it, so I did. I had no out of pocket. All my other surgeries were private and 2nd diagnosis in 2015 I did chemo privately. I then at my Surgeons recommendation switch to public for my mastectomy/diep flap recon and again for revision surgery in July. Uuugh its exhausting isn't it. I'll be honest, both were fine but I prefer no out of pocket which just makes me mad private health cover, I may not even have it anymore.
