I got my long hair cut short for a start before any chemo. I started to get used to it as chemo started. Then I went for a walk on the beach a couple of weeks after the first dose and it was very windy. When I got back a lot of my hair had blown away so I got a crew cut. Not all my hair fell out but most of it did. At home I walked around au natural but when I went out I wore a baseball cap. It was especially good around the freezer section in the supermarket as my head really felt the cold.
