Day 4 Radiation sore and swelling

So 4 days done so far and my Frankenboob is already tender on and around the nipple and starting to swell. I was really nauseous and tired yesterday  (Saturday) but today has been heaps better. I am hoping that the onset of tiredness and nausea was from my first flu shot I had a week ago and not already from the radiation or I am going to be shagged completely. I am so not used to not being up and running or riding every day and there is not a hope I will be able to run if this boob swells more. I have also been using La Roche-Posay thermal spring water and it helped to cool Franki heaps.

The only info I can find on nausea is uk or usa sites , has anyone else felt sick? I have foind kwells are helping heaps with the movement feeling but still having mild oh shit moments during it.

    I agree with the others. Definitely get it checked. Nausea can be part of radiotherapy side effects but they should be able to give you meds to help. Hope it all settles down soon for you. Karen xox

    Have just finished 31 radiation sessions,

    No nausea or swollen breast,

     I had other fairly unique side effects,

    We are all so so different & of course we never know what is normal & what isn't because we are new to all this ! 

    Get everything you aren't sure of checked out.

    You poor thing... feel so bad for you as nausea is just horrid.

    Do have the swelling checked out - just in case as I have been told you can develop mastitis during radiation in which case you would need it treated quickly.
