Been a While
Hi Ladies,
It's been a while since I last posted anything. Have had so much going on.
My nan has bladder cancer and she's been in & out of hospital with it & now it's spread outside the bladder and she's terminal & there's nothing the docs can do for her so she's starting chemo today to keep her comfortable.
I've been watching this show on Foxtel called Chasing Life. Has anyone seen it? It's about a 24 yr old woman who is diagnosed with AML and her cancer journey. Even though it's a different type of cancer, it is hitting very close to home and I've found myself bawling my eyes out everytime I watch it but it's such a great show.
I was told by my Oncologist that I can't start thinking about kids for another 4 years which will put me at 40 yrs old. I'm quite upset as I didn't think it would be that long before I could look into IVF. Had anyone else been in the same situation and how did you handle it? I know my health is the most importand thing but it still hurts.
