Fast anything
Ok so its now been a week since surgery and I am finding that I am running out of steam quickly. This is hard for me as I am the proverbial energiser bunny. I am a doer and usually the one helping others and doing things for others. I am a crafter. So now my wings are clipped.
So what to do....
I am discovering that I need fast food, fast craft, oh heck fast anything before I run out of energy. This is what I have discovered. I pulled out some old recipe books for the microwave and discovered some oldies but goodies. Chocolate and date squares. Nice to have in the pantry when visitors come. Found a few more recipes to try too. Quick easy and with little fuss.
As for the fast craft. I went on a course for making glass jewelry in the microwave a few years back. I watched a few tutorials on their website as a refresher. Not sure if I can post it here. Yes you need the equipment but then it takes less than 10 minutes to put a piece together.
At least at the end of the day I can say, yes I did something, as I crawl back into bed for another nap.

Glad you are over the surgery bit.It takes about 3 weeks to get some mojo back-don't forget you lose a lot of blood. The glass jewellery sounds interesting. We have a craft/art group at this network which you might like to join.Would love to hear more about this craft. Tonya xx0
