Saw a quote on Facebook this week that seems very apt

'You can't control your situation but you can control how you respond to it'

So very true! It's hard to bring my grey matter into line but feeling much much better the last two days. Take it all in stages and rememeber that people in general are stronger than they relise so just hang in there :-)

    Hi Karen

Glad you have been feeling better lately. There's so many unknowns when dealing with a bc diagnosis. Getting things into perspective takes a while. Nurturing yourself in whatever way you can is so important.

I discovered some inspiring quotes too that really sustained me through the low times. My favourite quotes are in two books -  "Hope Happens" (Catherine DeVrye) and ":A Pocketful of Sequins - Words from the heart".

I found writing in a journal healing and helpful too - in becoming more self aware and tuned into my needs - as well as recognising my progress - and milestones (big and small) throughout my bc journey.

I truly believe that you can transform vulnerability into strength - and ultimately discover your unique resilience. So keep exploring new possibilities within yourself as your journey continues !

Hope you keep in touch online.

My favourite one is...You never know how strong you are until strong is the only choice you have. I also wrote in a journal every day,and I am still doing it.Cheers Robynxox

Having treatment and recovering from this gives us a lot of time to contemplate our situation. Realizing that we always have a choice is an important step in the process of coming to terms with having BC. I also like the idea that we cocoon ourselves during treatment and then emerge transformed into a new, and I think better, person.
    Take care. Deanne xxx
