Thanks, Robyn. This Mother's Day is all about celebrating our health for my family. We are all so much more aware of how important that is. I will be very proud to have my husband and 2 daughters running and walking by my side! Have a great day yourself! Xxx0

Thanks Daina. Following in the footsteps of all the amazing women on this network has helped me immensely. Their great attitudes encouraged me and inspired me to stay connected and share the ups and downs of this past year! Thank goodness for BCNA. Xxx0

You have had quite a year but you seem to have come out of it with a positive spirit. You do seem to be here for us all and I have appreciated your advice along the way. I have 7 rads to go and I too will be doing the Mothers Day Classic on Sunday. My 5 and 8 year old will accompany me on the 4 km walk. We are looking forward to getting a bit dressed up in all our pink bits and pieces.
Good luck !0 -
If I am able to help others then that is something good that has come out of getting BC. Sometimes there is nothing you can do but let a person know they have been heard and understood.
Have a lovely Mother's Day too. It will be a hard one for you without your own Mum there this year. But I am sure your son and daughter will be spoiling you!
Take care. Xxx0 -
Good luck too! Good on you for having the energy at this stage of radiation!0

Hope you feel ok after your second chemo and are able to have a nice day with your Mum. Next year this will all be behind you! Xxx0

Happy Mothers Day to you and to all the mothers out there. I hope you enjoy your day at the classic.
Last year I had just finished my chemo and was recovering getting eady to have my kidney removed in June. Oh what a year, breast surgery, renal surgery, chemo, radiation and then ovaries and tubes removed to finish the year! I am attending the Field of Women on Saturday and I am so excited, what a momentuous occassion.
Its so good to be well again, yes like you I am on Tamoxifin but as you say it lowers our chances of reoccfurance and for that I am grateful.
Sending you all big hugs
Donna

Thanks Donna. Have a wonderful time at the Field of Women. It would be great to have the opportunity to attend but not possible for many of us who live too far away! I'll be thinking of you on Saturday!
Big hug to you. Deanne Oxxx0 -
