So I went in for my Mastectomy last night. After quite some deliberation and talking with doctors, no one could see any other option. With such a large amount and DCIS and no way to confirm any had got out of the duct i decided "this breast is not my friend!" And basically I want the cancer GONE.
So here I am.
I am also waiting for recon later when we know I'm all clear.
I want to really thank everyone who contacted me and assisted me & helped empower me to make some big decisions.
But also to BCNA who have provided me with a special bra and so much support going forward for all people with BC. You are amazing people and I thank you (while crying)
