Hello to the members of the Liverpool group. I notice the blogs are from a little while ago and wondering if this group is still going. I have had a mastectomy with sentinel node biospy about 3 weeks ago  for Invasive Lobular Cancer. The node biospy has since shown micromets. I currently have a small area of wound breakdown that is healing and have been referred to an oncologist at Liverpool Hospital for the preventative treatment - not sure at this stage if chemo + hormone or hormone alone - appt next Thursday 1/5/14. I understand so far that as tumour grade two and stage IIB the decision may well be mine - I am more worried about this decision than the one for mastectomy vs lumpectomy and radiotherapy.

Cheers for now MLE59.
