'You Are A Beautiful Woman' - Deanna Beisser :)

A beautiful woman is any woman who likes herself and loves other people. She gives of herself and cares about the happiness of others.

She walks through life with a smile on her face and love in her heart. She believes in being positive and helps those who struggle.

She sings and dances to the music of each new day and quietly gives thanks for all that she has.

She makes you feel comfortable and allows you to be who you are. She talks about her hopes and dreams and passionately listens to yours.

She accepts herself for all that she is and understands herself for all that she is not.

She is always trying to make her life better and encourages others to do the same.

A BEAUTIFUL woman may be a mother, a sister, a wife, a daughter, a best friend...

    Thanks for sharing the poem Mia. Now I am well I can relate, although it was tough going when the multiple side-effects of chemo and herceptin kicked in, and took so long to resolve.

    Wouldn't it be wonderful if the media took the same perspective as the sentiments in the poem?

    Hi Huny, Yes I agree whole heartedly!!!

    I am so glad you like the poem. Also look for the other ones I posted a few weeks ago. 'You Are An Amazing Woman' by Lorrie Westfall. and 'You Are A Strong Woman' by Brenda Hager. I bought a calendar in February and these poems are on it. It inspires me to read them and I wanted to share it with my fellow beautiful 'Pink Ladies.' So sorry to hear you had dramas!!! My chemo in 2011-2012 was a nightmare, especially with other complications that happened also!!! Side effects, blood clots, nausea and hair loss!!! Luckily I am now in my third year of remission and looking forward not backwards. I am going to the 'FOW 2014' in Melbourne in May. I can't wait for it, should be so awesome? Are you going too?
