Hi all. Just a quick introduction. I was diagnosed at 28, had a lumpectomy, no clear margins so a mastectomy and reconstruction, that was 16 years ago. At the time of diagnosis I was a single parent with 3 small kids: 6, 4, & 18 months. I didn't have the support that is available to women and their families now. I am privileged to be a community liaison for BCNA , to raise awareness of breast cancer and support others in any way I can. I am off to the Field of Women in May which is very exciting. Take care

    Hi Rikki

It's great to hear from you and that you are doing really well 16 years on from diagnosis. Well Done

That's great news especially to newly diagnosed young women who may be struggling.

Stay well and as I will be at Field of Women in May maybe we will meet.

    Love

    Tania
