Hi Everyone,just found this group,

Great page for rural women.

I lived on a dairy farm all my life until I got married.

Still being involved in the agricultural side we had a trucking business, until my husband passed away with pancreatic cancer. I am still involved in the trucking business, doing the book-keeping.I am very active in our local country town and wouldn't live anywhere else.Country folk are just a great support when things go wrong.Hi to you Leanne, hope you going to Melbourne.Lets catch up if you are.xxxJoy

    Hi JOYFUL

It's great to hear you are well. Yes, I agree country people are very supportive and love to help out. I m sorry to hear about your husband.

I love the small community I live in in regional SA. Whilst you were on a dairy farm until you got married, I married a dairy farmer.  We still have the farm but have diversified and swapped the friesians for Angus.
