Welcome to this network where you will find support and help.I was diagnosed last year with BC,but It must be particularly hard to have 2 different cancers.Have you just been diagnosed or are you going through treatment?Do you have support around you at all?You will find, that over the next couple of days, ladies will come on here to offer support to you. That is what this network does, and it does it so well. How many children do you have, and how old are they? There might be a support group in Adelaide also, and I am sure that if there is,someone on here will know about it.For the moment, just try and take things one day at a time. These days, breast and cervical cancer, have terrific cure rates, and there are amazing treatments available.Stay in touch on here, and I am sure that you will find that it helps you.Sending you a big hug:) Take care.Robyn.xoxo

I'm so sorry to read about your diagnoses - I can't begin to imagine how hard it is to be dealing with two cancers. Do you have treatment plans and good doctors who can answer all your questions? This network is an amazing place to come for support - there is always someone willing to listen. Also, everyone on here has been through part of your journey before so they understand how you feel.
Please feel free to inbox me privately if you wish.
Sending you strength, hugs and wishes for a good recovery,
    Xxx Jeanine

    Hi Chazzy,

I am happy to help in any way I can. I also live in Adelaide. Feel free to private message me. I was diagnosed with extensive DCIS in Sept 2013 and have just completed my third surgery. I have three school aged children so may understand some of the challenges you may be facing.

    Take care

    Karen xx

    Hi Chazzy

So sorry to hear what you are going through. I live in Strathalbyn, SA and I was diagnosed with bc in November, had 2 x surgery and now undergoing chemo.  There is a Facebook page for Adelaide Breast Cancer Friends Support Group so look for that as a start. Also a lady called Celeste posts (you can go back and look at the older posts) regularly on here for catch up dinners in various locations around Adelaide. I have been to one and they are a great place to meet others in similar situations. Also you can look for groups that meet near you by checking on this web site. I hope that is a start for you. I may see you at one of the dinners!

Hi Chazzy, welcome to the online BCNA network where I know you will find lots of support and friendship. The Adelaide BC Friendship Group meets regularly all over Adelaide and our next lunch is tomorrow, at Cafe Bravo, 144 The Parade Norwood at 12 noon if you can make it. Our next dinner is on 28th March, 7pm at the Rose and Crown Hotel in Elizabeth South. All of our get-togethers are posted on this network a few weeks before they start. We are also having a "SWap Night" on Wed 2nd April 7-10pm at the Cancer Care Centre at Unley, which would be a great opportunity for you to come along and meet new people and make new friends! Some people will bring items to swap such as wigs, head wear etc while others are just coming along for the company and to make new friends. It would be awesome if you could come along. It's great to see that you have already joined the ABCFG on Facebook too. You are never alone xx Sending you big hugs, Celeste xxx

    Hi Chazzy,

My name is Daina and I manage the online network here at BCNA. I just wanted to see how you are going and check if you managed to connect up with any face-to-face groups? Or if you have connected with any others within the online network or in Adelaide?
