The Great Pink Penning Event
The Great Pink Penning took place in Quirindi last night. My awesome sister Penny Stumer and her mates pulled together an evening of cows, horses, riders, spectators, food and sporting fun. It all kicked off at 4pm but participants were arriving from the day before and riding right up till midnight. This created an atmosphere of family fun and good natured competition but with serious prize money, fundraising opportunities and a sizable cheque to pass on the Breast Cancer Network Australia.
Rain threatened the proceedings but then the sky’s cleared for an evening dominated by pink.
Thanks to everyone involved, it was inspiring to see so many people get behind this event in support of BCNA who support women diagnosed with breast cancer. It was so much fun, we are already organising next years even GREATER Pink Penning XXXLouie
