Winning the lottery!

Well, I got the official news that the CT scan and the bone scan are both clear, no metastases, and my daughter and I feel like we just won the lottery!  I'll be leaving home with my husband at 6am tomorrow for a 7am admission followed by a 2.30 admission, but my mind is no longer going nineteen to the dozen, because I am no longer terrified. It seems the worst possibility now is an axillary clearance and radiotherapy, and possibly chemo if I have triple negative. Still a long hard journey but almost  I can count on certainly a good few years ahead, time to get and enjoy a grandchild or two.

That is fantastic for you and for your family. It is such a worrying time waiting. Lucky that you have such a loving and supportive family.

Good luck with the surgery and even if you have to have the chemo, that too will pass.
