Tonight is 12 months since I found the lump in my right breast. It feels like yesterday and so much has happened since then, but I'm still here and feeling better every day.
Even though rads finished back in early September the medical appointments don't seem to stop. In the last month I have had:
- Mammogram and ultrasound - clear yay!
- Surgeon follow up- see him in six months, yay!
- Echocardiogram as BP is up, waiting on test results
- 24 hr BP monitor as BP is up, waiting results
- Herceptin 11/17. Told I would have to have 18, boo!
- Oncologist review, who gave in and agreed to refer me for a total body scan as I have very sore back, still waiting on results and keep looking at films and trying not to refer to Dr. Google (haha)
- Workcover doctor for wrist
- Physio for back, and yes she got all the sore spots
- Oncologist on Monday to review all the tests
- Introductory Pilates on Tuesday, just cos, told physio she has to wear pink so we can pretend its pink Pilates
- Herceptin 12 on Wednesday
- Last but not least getting port out on 10/12/13 as I can't stand the pain and discomfort any more.
Cheers, bubbly at 11pm to celebrate lumpaversary and getting through the year.
