Annies Pink Potting Mix

Hi Ladies,

I am going to tell you about a dream that I actually had and I took it and made it come true.

As you know I had breast cancer and you need to know my husband is a production manager at a potting mix business. So we live breast cancer and potting mix.

In Feb 2012 I went to bed and I dreamt that I went to Bunnings, it was October, and they had pinks bags with potting mix in the bags. The breast cancer logo was on the bag. The staff all were wearing pink for Breast Cancer Month.

A couple of days later I remembered the dream and long story short I nagged my husband to put the idea forward to management. Over the next few months the idea was accepted and manufactured. In October my Pink Bags were launched Australia wide in Bunnings stores. What a great month I had. The manufacturer made a large donation to breast cancer research for the use of the logo, and I got to take an additional $10000 cheque to Sydney.

Now the Pink Potting mix has been made for the second year and is just going out now. So if you go past Bunnings and see the palletts of pink potting mix, think of me.

Now for those of you that are gardeners, please buy my Pink Bags of Potting Mix. This is my legacy to Breast Cancer because I have a daughter and we want  a cure

    Better make it this weekend then because I dont think you will be doing much gardening this season. Unless your like me and stand there and tell  him what to do.LOL.

    They told me last year that approx 50cents from each bag goes to research, Australia wide thats a lot. Yes I am chuffed.
