Good Morning on this grey and chilly day. Yesterday was the total opposite as it was one of those beautiful crisp winter days with blazing sunshine, so good for ones well being. Health wise going along OK but tumour markers are up again...pesky things. Interestingly I can tell as I always feel not quite right and extra tired when this happens. Thats cancer for you I suppose. Still on the Tykerb/Xeloda regime but doc thinks I may have to increase the dose as only on half at present....sigh...sick of myself! My new puppy is now rather on the large side and keeping me busy. Just like having another child really and use same training techniques! I knew having children would be useful for something!!!! This is a photo of him although this was a few weeks ago and he has since grown a lot and is now like a red furry bear. How could one not love him? He can be naughty as has a love of my sons underwear and my daughters bras.....worn of course!

I've just been reading your story and blogs and I must say I admired your positive nature through such a negotive time. You are a true inspiration.

Love your new puppy. He looks so mischievous and so very cute. What breed is he? We had to put down our dear old cat a few days ago and I miss her terribly. She's been my constant companion. But I can't bring myself to get another pet just now. Maybe after I recover from my op. Although looking at your gorgeous little boy makes getting a lovely, cuddly kitten or puppy very tempting. We'll have to see.

Keep up that wonderful attitude and look after yourself.

    Sending hugs to you

I really think pets give you a lift. We also have a lovely elderly cat who likes to cuddle up and actually likes to nap lying ony tummy! My only caution about a puppy is they do need lots of exercise but its made me get out walking even when the weather is terrible.
