I need to wash my wig but I don't have the proper shampoo for it yet. Did someone say they used baby shampoo? Is it necessary to buy the right shampoo and conditioner? I never asked but I gather my wig is acrylic as it was $500.
Any suggestions appreciated
Thanks

Hi Vanessa, you need to wash synthetic wigs with "special shampoo and conditioner". If you go to the chiquel.com.au web site it has a section on caring for your wig. This is where I got my wig and the site does have good step by step instructions.
I use Evo shampoo and conditioner but mine is a human hair wig. Cheryle :)

Thanks. I ended up getting the proper shampoo today. How is your radiotherapy going?

Hi cheryle. I still have one more AC chemo to go on the 1st August. Start taxol and herceptin three weeks after that. The AC really took its toll last time. Bone pain and nausea were terrible. Dreading the next one. Have your symptoms from the taxol subsided yet?
