Hi all, well I have been given some not so good news on Monday, after nearly a week of generally feeling unwell with no real reason I could put my finger on I called my oncology nurse who called my oncologist who said I should go to the hospital to get some more scans, so after a head CT and a wait for the results that seemed like hours I was told that my cancer has spread to my brain...... Oh Shit!!!! Was my reaction........ After 9 months of being stable it was quite a shock. So I have to have radiotherapy treatment this time, I went and had my stabilisation mask made today and will have my first of 10 treatments on Friday, it will be daily for 2 weeks with weekends off.
I have also been told that I cannot drive for about 8 weeks so that will be hard, thank goodness for my wonderful girlfriends who have offered to help with school runs and anything we need help with.
Well a new chapter in this adventure begins and while I admit I am a bit scared I am not going to let it get the better of me, I will fight with all my might and win!!!!!

Hi Tracey
I'm so sorry to read your news. I can only imagine how you are feeling as you try and work through all the feelings that come with this news.
I know how shocked I have been since my secondary diagnosis last week compared to the feelings that came with my first diagnosis in Oct 2011.
Keep believing in your ability to never give up and win.
Know that you are in my thoughts and your pink sisters will be wrapping their arms around you and sending you and your family lots of healing hugs.

Hey Tracey
I remember you and your lovely smile and positive attitude at the April Community Liaison course last April so it greatly saddens me to read your latest news.
I will be thinking of u and wishing u nothing but the very best with your treatment.
I am glad u have your mum and your girlfriends to give you support.
I hope you can retain that lovely smile and great attitude as you travel this new road.
Lots of love always, Mich xoxoxo0 -
