  • register for Medicare Safety Net
  • organise 2 year referral from GP to oncologist
  • book appointment with lymphodema physio
  • check seroma with surgeon
  • move cut-off-all-my-hair appointment
  • claim on private health for cost of wig
  • get refreezable ice pack for surgery site; and eye drops to add to my chemo kit
  • email through medical certificate to work
  • check on availability of accommodation through the OTIS Foundation down at Goolwa

 Reminders

  • do things in short bursts
  • have half hour horizontals more often to reduce likelihood of swelling
  • nanna nap in arvo
  • walk every day
  • drink more water
  • eat healthily and in moderation
  • smell the roses
  • smile and laugh often

    Yes there is always tomorrow. I've bought two notebooks: one for planning and one for reflections.

    Planning - write list for the next day - tranferring things from the day before that could wait till tomorrow!

    Reflection - how do I feel at the end of each day of chemo

    Wish I could blame chemo brain for struggling to remember things but I haven't started yet!
