For more than 15 years, the Mother’s Day Classic fun run and walk has provided communities with a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day and raise funds for breast cancer research. The Adelaide Mother's Day Classic will be held on Sunday 12 May 2013 and this year, the Adelaide Breast Cancer Friendship Group has registered as a team for the 4.3km walk :)

The Adelaide event for 2013 will be from a new location (Peace Park) and involves a 4.3km (and 7.2km walk) and run along the Linear Route and through the Botanic Gardens.

Participants can also fill in a tribute card to wear on the day in memory of a loved one or with words of encouragement to someone currently undergoing treatment. You can also pin your tribute card to the special wall around the Pink Fence at Peace Park.
