Hi Ladies,

 

I have recently joined this site as I am 44 and have just been diagnosed with BC.  I am very "lucky" in the sense that it was caught early.  I do need to have a mastectomy, possibly a double and this should be happening in the next few weeks.  I cannot believe the amount of young people that are affected by this horrible illness.  I wish you all well, have strength, where there is strength there is hope, where there is hope there is everything.  Lets all hope for a long life ahead!
