Hi girls thank you for accepting me into rout group . I have been looking for something locally. Do you have regular meet ups?
My story is I have 3 boys aged 6, 8 & 11 and my hubby Christian all have been great support and I have my saint of a mother in law who comes to all of my Chemo appointments,
I've just finishes 4 rounds of FEC, about to start 25 sessions of radio at Maquarie and to finish off 12 weekly of taxol. Oh and then hormone therapy because I'm oetrogen and progesterone positive. I was diagnoised in May this year with a 7 cm tumor in left breast an two lymph nodes involved plus some skin involvement.

    Hi Vickie,

I don't think I've seen a message in this group before. I signed up for it when I first joined on here...

I work full-time and kept working through my chemo so have been unable to access the support group at my centre as it only runs midday. I have gotten all of my support in two online communities - here and the US based group breastcancer.org.

You have young kids so I imagine that feeling bad in the days after chemo must make looking after the kids challenging...

    regards Jenn
