    A warm welcome to all the new members from all of us 'oldies'.  You have found a great place for information, to ask questions and to make friends.
    @snoozey_sister @KRW @Jade80 @ethereal @BernieWal @skinnygirl @ElenaD @Brooms @MadMum77 @emma79 @Melody @JenniJoy @janieboyd @emichacko @jamale @Sachs @Molly5 @AnnieG @hays @Rachelz @CCMA @kmorley55 @Shazmaree @HBK @m_m11 @Cricks @karolyn @SJG @MelCHobart @ssabo @yanis_r @MariJo @Fifi1002 @Kazweekes @bronp @kathskryp @kathyfran @Rina @magsy @Gola @Janjuc262 @deborahjoy @Mayet @SandraN @Angief @ellebell09 @IJS @kbeats90 @traceyrodgers @Madimack @mazgam @Liewe_Heksie @Irishmama @katie123 @316 @megwhatever @Pam52 @JLa @mima56 @ronnielo @del500 @twhite @natasha1407 @mek @tom @Andy77@hinehaycock - please ask anything which is in your mind as no question is too small or too silly.  There is always someone who has been just where you are so they know how you are feeling.
    A pen and paper will be an asset for you as once you write it down you will stop that panicky worrying feeling.  Take your pen and paper to any appointments and ask away.
    If you can, take someone with you as a second pair of ears, or even ask if you can record the appointment for later reference as we all miss bits along the way or don't think of questions immediately.
    If you add your general location into your profile you can be in contact with other locals who know more about what is available to you.
    This can be a difficult time but remember that you are your own advocate in the medical environment so don't be shy in stating your case.
    All the best to you.  ❤️❤️

    Thank you for the welcome.
    I am a little overwhelmed right now.
    I was told on the 8th of May that I would be getting surgery within four weeks. I still don't have a date and just don't have the emotional capacity right now to explore this network but it is nice to know it is here. Emma 🐞

    @KRW and @Sachs - feel free to jump onto the Newly Diagnosed thread and tell us your story so far.
     (https://onlinenetwork.bcna.org.au/categories/newly-diagnosed)

    Take lots of deep breaths, try & keep busy as you can between appointments - and if you are waiting for a surgery date, maybe cook up some meals & freeze them, so it is one less thing to worry about afterwards ;)

    Take care
