On unpayed leave until recovered

I finally gave in and admitted that I can not work while having treatment and after listening to my hubby and daughter pleas to give-up work , I went and apply for unpaid leave. Now all I have to do is wait for the meeting with oncologist and to start chemo. I'll be off work until march next year as I promise my family that I will not go back until I am recovered. It is strange not going to work as the only time i did not work was when my daughter was born. I been working since I finish high school , I evan worked while I studied full time at uni. OH well I'll think of it as an extended holiday, not really. Now that I wrote those words down I feel a little better thank you for listening. Cheers, Monica
