Hi @Nannatash, haven't had a lump in the neck but I'm quite sure that there are many many possibilities from minor infection upwards. Your doing the right thing by having it checked but try not to stress too much until you've seen your doc - (easy to say!!) Wishing you all the best and please let us know his you get on. Xx Cath

I did years ago after multiple colds and flu and it stayed a while. I got checked out to ensure no issues by a specialist. (Cannot remember what sort now) anyways it went down with no issues. Always best to have it checked. Kath x

Hi @Nannatash, the thing with breast cancer is it leaves us with such a heightened awareness of our bodies. We will forever be tuned in to every twinge, pain and lump and have alarm bells ringing.  Because you also have a sore throat too it's hopefully just a slight infection.  If it's still there, get it checked. Peace of mind is worth so much to us.
Let us know how you go, wishing you all the best.  Jane xx

hi, yes I too had a lump on the neck, went to my gp, went and had an ultrasound which i asked for, to give me peace of mind, i had all sorts of theories running through my head, anyway, the results were that it was all perfectly normal and i still have the lump!!! it may be as the other ladies said that as you have a sore throat that you just have a minor infection and thats what has caused the lymph node to swell a bit,get it checked for your own peace of mind like i did i think gps are aware that when you have a breast cancer diagnosis every little thing seems to be larger than life and are good at allaying your fears,
    take care,

If any lumps or bumps last more than two weeks, always get it checked.
