A successful day!!!!
My friend Margaret organised an Australia's Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser in my honour.
Like so many, her family has been personally touched by cancer, namely her Mum.
Welll today was that day! The was called Tracy - Our Extraordinary Woman and many people donated time, auction items, jumping castle, cakes, body scrubs, artworks, facepainting, card readings and a coffee van.
along with the sales from all the items at the fundraiser, we had many generous cash donations and together we smashed our goal of $2000! (We estimate once final auction payments are finalised $2500 or so!)
my hubby stole the show though when he got his head painted not only with pink flowers but jewels and glitter too! Now that's true love!
im sooo tired, it's been a great day.... I will sleep with a happy heart knowing we have made a contribution towards research into finding a cure for all cancers....

Wow sounds like a great day. As long as all you have to do is show up and not stress yourself during your recovery that's the main thing. That hubby of yours is a keeper for sure!

Well done, you! It does feel good to contribute to the fight against cancer in a wider sense than just our own personal battles.
I agree with Brenda, your hubby is a keeper for sure! Hope you did sleep well after all that. What a great effort. ????
