I must get moving
I better get moving, cannot stay on here all day. There are things to do, places to go, people to see - Although i do like reading the posts on here.
I just had a 3 week road trip to Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Tamworth, Childers, Coonabarabran etc. drove 6000 kms. Went with a friend. Met some nice people and saw the landscapes also.
Now back in Northern Tasmania and winter has set in. Today is not bad, a bit of blue sky out there.
A goal is to try and keep weight in check and " keep moving", dancing, gentle water exercsies etc. and keep connected with the community.
Bye for now,
Kathy

Hi! Wow, so what to you do when you are busy (lol!) I have not been to Tassie since 1973 - we were all set for a trip when I found out I had 'this'.........as a result have had to postpone the trip until later next year - I know Tassie has changed (spent many years of childhood around Burnie and Wynyard) have heard some of the old buildings have gone (like the hospital where I worked in my first-ever job) - but still want to see the place, so that is my goal after I finish my last Herceptin (around this time next year) but wont travel in middle of winter! Am looking forward to a lovely boat trip. x x x Josie

you lived in burnie and wynyard for some of your childhood years? i have not been that way for a few years, but hope to visit stanley again soon.
i do not think tasmania has changed that much really. 1973, i remember it; i just finished matric in launceston.
the weather is the same..LOL. summer is not long enough.. but it has its own beauty like different parts of australia.
hope you get to tasmania soon.. kathy. good luck with your treatment.

Hi Kathy
Wow, you are living in my most favourite state of all this big country! I don't envy you with the cold down there - haven't really experienced it too cold as only been there in the Autumn and never when it has snowed!
Been all around it though! Love the place!
I agree with Josie - you must never get tired, or bored. I do hope all is well with you for now and you can be free of any more news bc way.
Take care
Sandy

Hi there Kathy,
Congratulations on so long. I have not been in touch for a while and am looking forward to coming back to the fold so to speak. Hope all is well with you. Think of you often in my most favourite state. Would love to come down there and meet you face to face one day.
Also, glad you had a great trip way up north in sunny Queensland. Hope you took lots of snaps to have the memories always with you.
Have a lovely weekend
Sandy xo
