ADMIN: spam activity
Hi all, we've had a couple of spam users register in the network the last two days, so I'm just reposting the link to information about dealing with spam.
You can find the information here: http://www.bcna.org.au/network/groups/54/blog/4735.
Thanks to all of you fabulous folk who've reported this activity. We try to keep a balance between making things difficult for spammers, and not putting too many barriers in the way of those of you who genuinely want to use the network as it's intended, so thanks for helping us stay on top of it.

Thanks, that's the one -- blocking it is the right thing to do.

I received spam from this user.
A google of the email address in the message shows that they or it have spammed lots of websites.

Hi roger, yes, that's one of them (I've just edited your post to take out the links because we don't want to give them any more exposure than necessary). Just delete the message and don't respond. ~ Di

Thanks shirl -- just delete the message without responding as you would any other spam message or email (and feel free to have a little rant!

Hi Raelene,
I'm glad you know what to do now. If you're not sure about any correspondence you receive through this online network, you're always welcome to forward it to me, or to bcnaonline@bcna.org.au, and we can check it for you.
