sO i HAVE BEEN Going to phsio for 8 weeks since my mastechtomy. The one I was seeing was great , the one that replaced her was no so. There was something about her at the start.. Two weeks ago after having 4 days in hospital again I told her they put me on hepren injections oin hospital so I will bruise easiy so take it easy. She not only ignored me she kept on going harder and harder in one spot to I eventually grabbed her wrist and I started to throw up form the paim she was giving me. I ended up being more brusied then after the operation and my shoulder slipping out of socket for 5 days. I have now cancelled all appt. I did not say why. I will if they ring Before the BC i WOULD HAVE RANTED NOW i DON'T FEEL i NEED TO JUSTIFY MYSELF. mY DESCISION IS MY DESCISION. sHE WAS SO SADISTIC AT such a young age and in my op area. It was stupid of her and she is lucky all I did was grabb her wrist as my left arm my good arm is a hell of a lot stronger than hers and I really wanted to inflect the same pain on her. She got such a firight. I can't go back as I cant trust myself that if she does it again and she will I will inflict the same pian on her . Eye for an Eye.

On a good Note I am starting Piano lessons. in two weeks

Sorry you had to deal with that Peta!

I would, however, complain to the appropriate department! So many of these issues go unnoticed because NOTHING is said!

Meanwhile I hope you find another physio as it's important for your healing....and hope you get to enjoy your impending piano lessons!

    Xx

    Good for you

    Stand up for yourself.

Sometimes the different medical people forget that they are dealing with humans that have an opinion and are sensitive.

I am sure they think that we will all do as we are told without question or complaint.

We are strong women and we are permitted to question any treatment or procedure that we are advised to have, and even better, we can say NO.

Talk to your breast nurse and GP doctor to get that shoulder checked and make sure no lasting damage is done. You don't have to suffer in silence. If necessary the GP may order an ultrasound to really check everything's ok in there or at least order the specialist to do one.

Yes I know , but I guess because I used to be like that and nothing ever changed so now I see it as just walk away and make it someone elses problem as in the end no one cares or believes you. Thanks for your contact Peta xxx

I dont have abreast nurse as no one gives a hoot. Was given all these promises and a stack of books but when I asked for help I was ignored and just left by myself to cope with the mastctomy. No one cares in this area in the end. They expect you to be the same as you were before and no one wants to offer help. Hugs to You Peta

We care Peta. I found this guy on you tube who explains the shoulder socket as a bit of a weak sort of joint and shallow which could be why yours slipped out. Just remember the guy in the vid is fit so if you can't do some exercises don't worry, you can just do your best without injuring yourself further. He has other vids too. See how you go. [link removed by BCNA]

I never knew the shoulder was so technical. This video checking a guys tender shoulder was quite educational for me. [link removed by BCNA]
