Take a Walk in The Park Day - an unofficial (but we think fantastic) holiday to encourage us all to get active.

Here at BCNA we encourage you to walk more. Walking is a wonderful, low impact exercise and the fresh air does you a world of good.

Why not post us a photo of your walk in the park?

Ann-Marie our Online Community Coordinator at BCNA has a little message for you - check this out!

A walk in the park is my favourite way to be active. These are photos from my Easter walk in Kondalilla National Park.

Walking up-hill is great weight-bearing exercise for preventing bone density issues. Sorry bad photo, I have my eyes shut!

The view from the Baroon Dam Lookout. Definitely had my eyes open for this view! Worth the walk up hill.

Well done, Deanne, looking great and beautiful place. Also, I like those hiking boots you're wearing :-)

Wow! Now that's major walk in the park!

I've been meeting a friend one night a week to walk and talk in a local park. The exercise, fresh air and conversation are great!

Thanks for the inspiration girls - took a walk from Crown Casino along the Swan River to check out the progress of the new Perth Stadium, perfect day for it!
